StepX is a minimalist sample tracker application. Presented with a small number of electronic samples (synth and drums) and a short pitch range, you can toggle each instrument to play a note at various points along a basic staff. This is not a game. It's being sold as a game. I don't know what people expect, but I can't recommend things that aren't games to gamers on Steam. As a music creation app, this is dumbed down to hell. There's better free trackers online with more samples and more capability. If this was a game, it would suck, because there's no gameplay. If unsure, go look at a guitar. Is that a video game? No, it isn't. How about a piano? No? Still not a video game? Okay.
