In Stone Age, you take on the role of a prehistoric human. Beginning with archaic tools, you collect wood, stone, and gold to attain higher levels of knowledge and build sturdier structures. With resources being scarce, you must compete for the limited number of spaces on the board that produce them while also gathering food to feed your growing tribe.

In Stone Age, the players live in this time, just as our ancestors did. They collect wood, break stones and wash their gold from the river. With a balance of luck and planning, the players expand their village to achieve new levels of civilization.

It's a solid digital version of a great board game. Nothing fancy, just the game in a friendly UI with a good tutorial and it plays like the board game. And really, that's all I really want in every board game adaptation!3 found this helpful

It is a good computer version of the board game. Sometimes it just summarizes the computer player's turn instead of showing you how each worker retrieval plays. Sometimes the game glitches and you have to exit to the main menu then select to continue the local game.
Great game
I have this physical board game and it's one of my favorites. If I'm going to play it by myself then this is definitely the way to go. All the work is done for you. I love the Stone Age theme. I have role playing games like Primal Quest and Paleomythic and video games like Farcry Primal. The board game has a five player expansion called "Stone Age Style is the Goal". If the developers would please make it DLC for this game then I will buy it.
Another great game destroyed by lag... the unnecessary animations and load time between them turns a great game into a slog. If this doesnt bother you then go for it!
