Big fat meh, it doesn't feel rewarding to play cause you're always just barely reaching out to the next hand hold... it's slow and repetitious and never ever speeds up.

Seems interesting enough, though kind of odd. For starters, I don't think we ever get a map, the core of the game is assigning workers jobs, with a secondary function of choosing research. The game claims that even when you are not playing, the workers are working, no clue if true, if so, that might impact how you want to leave things when you quit out. I do miss having a map, I like exploring, but that isn't a deal breaker here, curious to see if they do keep working when I am away. ADDENDUM: I had given this a thumbs up at about twenty minutes, but at an hour I am changing it to a thumbs down, simply boring. Sigh... All the research is a funnel as far as I got, so there was no real decision making, without decisions, there is no game.

I'm enjoying it so far. For 89p what more can you say? I'll add more later.

Sad downvote. The game was incredibly active at the outset, as good active idlers tend to be. It's an unusual and cool theme for the space, and has some novel mechanics. The problem comes in a few epochs into the game, when you start bumping up against a hard limit of the number of tasks you're able to execute simultaneously. As the mechanics in each age get progressively more complex, this limit becomes more and more painful, and the gameplay feels like it degenerates into just fighting the UI more than anything. This is a very deliberate design choice by the developer, and while I have to respect refusing to compromise your personal vision for your creation, it unfortunately made the game too frustrating for me to enjoy after a while. A pity; the game is awesome otherwise!
