Great game. Worth every penny. The artwork and audio/music is great fun. The gameplay is very enjoyable. You get into a flow state once you figure out how to use the collection page to keep track of which flowers to focus on growing and which to sell. It's then just about planting, watering, hoping (for new flowers) and picking (with time left over to bother the bees 🙂) I'm looking forward to seeing what games the developer comes up with next.

To be clear, I put two hours into the demo before realizing the full version was out and immediately buying it. I decided to check this game out when it came up in the store as suggested for me, and I'm so glad I did. I was instantly enthralled. If you're looking for a fast paced game, this isn't it. Both the title, and the trailer, make that abundantly clear. And I love that! I love just watching my flowers grow and picking them and being excited every time I grow a new one. I love having a collection to fulfill. I love the art and the sound effects and the ambience and the music. I love this game! It tugs at something deep inside me. Don't think of this as a game to put on in the background. Think of it as a breath of fresh air. Stop and smell the flowers!

I love the premise of slowing down and not always having to be doing something other then just watching the flowers grow. They really do grow fast so any time that I notice myself feeling bored as they are growing it is a great reminder that I need to slow down. On a technical note, I did experience my very first tulip seed mutating and I didn't realize it for a while. I spent some time trying to figure out how to mutate to the other section of flowers. I feel like it would be a good idea for the first seed to not have the ability to mutate. I loved all the flower varietals and honestly it could have even been bigger with more flowers and I would be happy. I would play other version of this with other plants or even little critters. Another thing I loved was the lack of a tutorial. So many games rely on a tutorial that is overly in your face even when the game is simple. This was a very clean and minimalistic game that was very intuitive to figure out. I want more!
