Street of Secrets

"Street of Secrets" is yet another construction kit template copy+paste from serial shovelware pushers, Snkl Studio. These guys do nothing but copy premade game templates and game tutorials, fill out a few things/stamp out basic levels using the construction kit templates, slap on an asset flipped set of sprites/assets, and dump them on Steam and into cheap nasty shovelware game bundles as cash grabs. Trying to get paid for someone else's game templates, assets... at best, this is shovelware, at worst, it's a scam/cash grab. The "developer" used ClickTeam Fusion to asset flip out one of literally hundreds of simple, minimalist 2D line art "Find 100 Hidden turnips" or whatever games... hunt through a simple illustration to find 100 hidden things. The first time I saw one of these I thought it was a fairly okay, if short experience... but the problem is, there's literally hundreds of these plaguing the store. They're fairly low effort when you think about what's needed to make a more genuine game. The whole thing could have been done in a web browser. We have to ask if Steam was intended to compete with Firefox, Chrome or Safari. I didn't spend thousands building a gaming rig…

Could desperately use a zoom function, but besides that, its a lot of fun.

pretty cool, a zoom would be nice though. some objects were difficult to find because of how small they were. and i feel like contast between lines and background gradient was a bit low in 2nd and 5th house. over all it's cool, there are some nice weird places here and there

Typical hidden object, nothing new, nothing bad. Achievements, 100% / ~45min.
