About Suborbital
Many many years into the future, humanity has created and used warp drives. However, due to the recency of the technology, it still has many flaws. You are equipped with experimental engines and a warp drive, and you are tasked with finding the wreck of the EV Triumph, a large exploratory ship which lost contact on its journey through deep space. The reason was unknown, but you suffer the same fate.
Brace for a journey into the unknown. Explore a massive wreck and salvage materials to get out of your time-limited survival situation as quickly as possible. Every decision you make could mean the difference between life and death: Resourcefulness and strategy will be tested as you scavenge for supplies, and your ever decreasing oxygen levels keep you on your toes.

Overall, this game is a unique and intense experience, especially for me given my megalophobia, and for the price its definitely worth it. But, it does have some flaws. For starters, the game is very dark with no way to brighten it, which makes it very hard to navigate, even with the sonar. A better flashlight of some sort would be nice, just for interior spaces at the very least, as the one you do get is very weak and kinda easy to miss. It's very hard to actually get started, and some of the objectives are a little hard to actually do when you get them, given how little oxygen you get (Plus I still don't know how to get zinc) The oxygen recycler didn't seem to help at all either, even with two of them. The sonar can also be a little buggy with the rangefinder at times. The main draw of the game, the black hole itself, is very nice and absolutely terrifying. I was frozen in fear when I first noticed "Hey, that black hole looks a lot bigger than it did before." Overall, neat little game with a few hours of fun5 found this helpful
really a great game thats very engaging, though can be frustrating at times. I'm super glad the developer has put in so much time into making this game awesome!2 found this helpful
This is an incredible space survival game- squinting through the darkness, desperate maneuvers, desperate grabs for safety, nothing is easy. This reminded me a lot of one of my favourite games, Outer Wilds, in that it thrusts you into a mystery, leaves the world completely open to you, and that it expects you to die and try again repeatedly. It is quite difficult, as you really can't see well at all. Everything is lit in only one plane from a single source, and anything that is in shadow is not visible at all. This means that every new frontier you feel through blindedly like a newborn, but also that areas you've been and things you've done feel easy and you move through them quick. This cosmic darkness is probably the primary driver of difficulty. I like it, As I said, I interpret it being hard as 'expecting you to be able to do more each time'. You are working with some limited resources, and as you learn specific areas and tasks, you can streamline these maneuvers. The best parts of this really are like Outer Wilds. There is no respawn. My biggest criticism is that other mechanics directly prevent playing like this. I tried this, skipping past some quest markers to jump strai…2 found this helpful

really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good, but PLEASE add a button to respawn. waiting for your oxygen to run out as you drift through space is pretty, but it gets annoying, especially while you're learning the controls. also, steel is really difficult to get in the early game. keep in mind if you want to buy it, it is difficult. a ton of fun, though!1 found this helpful
Have NO idea what I'm doing 99% of the time and can't see most of it. Very Dark1 found this helpful
