This game was short and sweet. The animations are decent and my only critique was that it was too short(Because I wanted more.) But the price seems fair and was able to clear the game on hard mode with a little practice. Solid metroidvania playstyle.

Amazing art, decent story and after bit of changing keybinds great one handed gameplay.

This game has no right... no right I tell you, to be this good. This is one of the most fun H-games I've played since... (thinking)... idk Karryn's Prison or something. Honestly the cake was good but the main course is what kept me playing.

Fun game although a bit shorter. PROS: - the movement is smooth and progression is evident - very good pixel art and style - fun quirky boss fights CONS: - a bit lower variety of the H scenes - sometimes the map felt like I was just traversing some random rooms, there was no real flavour to some of the places Overall a nice short game with metroidvania elements and H stuff. I very much appreciate that the game is gameplay-based with the H element, and not just a copy pasted H game with no gameplay at all.

I bought this expecting another mediocre eroge metroidvania. You know the drill: limited moveset, enemies with grabs interrupting the flow of gameplay, janky mechanics and animations, lose to get H scenes. This isn't that. At it's core, Succubus Successor is an extremely competent metroidvania. It looks great, sounds nice, plays very well. There's plenty of secrets to find and stuff to unlock. The eroge part is integrated nicely and doesn't interrupt anything - you decide if you engage with it most of the time, and you get rewarded for doing so with extra healing, damage, and EXP. The story is also worth mentioning - it's pretty standard, but still engaging, without needless yapping. It also leaves enough unanswered questions for a sequel/DLC, while being complete and satisfying. The only issues I really have is that the game's rather short, with 100% taking me around 5 hours. I would also love for some characters to stick around after their initial encounter, and offer some extra dialogue or interactions. Definitely getting that announced DLC, and looking forward to what the future holds for this series. Alongside Flipwitch, Succubus Successor is a great example of what a…
