About Sue's Story
Sue's Story is a "free to play" version of TerrorPhage, a classic sci-fi horror-adventure game in the spirit and tradition of a Alien : Isolation and Dead Space. Awakening on a cryo-transport ship hurtling towards a main sequence star, Proximus Centaurus, Sue is thrust into a terrifying game of hide and seek and a race against time to fix the ship, and dock successfully at an orbital platform. It is completely free (and slightly buggy) version of the complete commercial game, TerroPhage, due for release in 2023 Q1.
"The sound of a ship exiting hyperspace was impossible to hear in the vacuum of space, of course, but the visual effect was dramatic and breathtaking. There was no observer to see it arrive this time. A little flicker of light, then a small circle like spherical lightning following by the emergence of the spacecraft decelerating in the blink of an eye. Outside the event was soundless, inside another matter. A loud thunderclap echoed through the desk of ship, and a shimmering of the stars behind the craft lasted only just a second and then was snuffed out. Then the ship drifted slowly and ominously above the planet to which it had arrived.
The planet revolved slowly underneath as the ship’s thrusters fired up unaware of the violence of the arrival of the unexpected visitor, but deep within the ship awareness grew. A consciousness slowly that slowly emerged out of hyper-sleep. A humanoid mind. Female. Dazed and confused she awoke to the sounds of emergency klaxons ringing out through the vessel. Red emergency lighting flashed through the cryo-deck. Cruelly ripped from stasis, she shook and trembled, then after a moment beat her fists against the inside of the cryo-chamber. Screaming."

"Sue's Story" is less of a game and more of an advertisement for a product that hasn't and probably never will be made called "TerrorPhage" (not to be confused with the Starfield Terrorphages, anyway). It's an okayish first person adventure, but the intention here isn't to provide a game to gamers, but to advertise, and that always rubs gamers up the wrong way. There's an appropriate process to put game demos on Steam, which wasn't followed here... and of course this requires the product that is advertising is actually available. While I generally don't recommend advertisements to gamers and don't treat advertisements as games, we'll do so in this case due to the bizarre nature of this advertising a product that was never made. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other n…5 found this helpful
Before I played Sue's Story, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
