Summit : Steps of Solace is an exhilarating mountain climbing precision platformer, where you scale a relentless peak filled with brutal jumps, hazards, and shifting terrain. Master a range of tools to ascend higher, where every fall is a lesson and each hard-earned step gets you closer to the goal.Average story playthrough is about 1-1.5 hours in length. Equipped with 2 pickaxes, scale the mountain to reach the top. Avoid physics based environmental hazards as you uncover the story behind our protagonist’s unwavering tenacity to reach the top.Features

take everything i say with a HUGE grain of salt as i have not played an actual platformer since i was 10 years old playing super mario world on my gameboy advanced. this game was quite fun! i rolled this game off of challenge enthusiasts which gave me 24 hours to complete all achievements in this game. it was definitely a little stressful which didn't exactly help with my overall experience, but hey we got it done. its a short game you could beat in probably 30 minutes if ur very experienced with platformers, for me it took 46 minutes on my first go. overall all the mechanics in the game work great. i really liked the crow and wished there was a few more screens that used it but oh well. the flawless run was hard, especially for me. it took another 8 hours of attempts/learning to get it done. i wish i could have just picked it up in a few days but yknow... deadline. besides that the rest of the achievements are pretty easy. i took my SWEET time with the flawless run and still finished it in 13 minutes. looking at the lb there's 2 people with a time under 7:30 so you got plenty of time for the 15 minute run. as i stated above: take my criticisms with a grain of salt i have not…
Excellent small vertical slice of an interesting platformer. Wish there was more or that the grappling hook was introduced earlier. Will keep an eye on this developer. Recommended.
Fun platformer that doesn't let things get stale
I like Celeste its my all time favorite game, this felt like a small little homage to that game in a small package without feeling like ripping off
What a gem. This is one of those games that feels like meditation in the mountains with a goal of a speed run to make it to the top. First off that music...WOW. A BEAUTIFUL theme that belongs in the cinemas that will stay with me forever, and a cute charming art style that you can feel the chills and isolation of the mountains but just feels like a happy place to be. I was always like "agh ONE more! One more!" I got up to 10,000 feet in just half an hour and was determined to make it to a spot I could rest for the night while my character aka "little bro" is (hopefully!) tenting warm in the mountains! Beautifully done guys, wow. Hope more to come from you all!!
