Protect the world from explosive disaster!
Take the role of a little caped hero whose duty it is to collect bombs and keep stuff from getting blown up! In this retro ‘80s style arcade game, you’ll help the fearless hero Jagger fend of enemy robots and UFOs as he leaps across platforms, air jumps and uses downward dashes to retrieve the firebombs before it’s too late!
With retro-styled 3D graphics and mechanics that are easy to pick up and play but tough to master, Super Jagger Bomb offers a straightforward and rewarding gameplay experience.

I have no issues recommending this as it's cheap and cheerful and genuinely fun. There are also some nice retro tunes in the menu and during gameplay. This is basically a Bomb Jack clone with modern 3D backgrounds. It's even obvious which stage takes after its arcade counterpart. That's it. If you love the arcade game you will love this. There are no resolution options but I am certain it is native 4K here so should be native to whatever res your screen is, and one thing I really do love is there is the resizable window option so I can play the game in windowed mode from top of screen to the top edge of the windows taskbar on the bottom of the screen, so I have constant quick access to my system if needed. I wish all games offered infinite manually adjustable window sizing! My only disappointment comes from one area which I feel was a bit of a missed opportunity. The dev could have offered some modern power ups. The ones there are just like the arcade that turn the enemies to coins, and unless I haven't played long enough to see if there are others, well yeah, I'd have liked that. A lot. Bomb jack was one of my favourite games as a kid and I've been looking for a way to play it for ages, then just randomly stumbled upon this today, didn't take me long to realise how well this game satisfied my cravings for a blast from the past.
