I hope the developers read what I wrote. I'm not giving a negative vote so that your score doesn't decrease. I don't like the game in its current state. First of all, it is obvious that you were inspired by the game Mad Game Tycoon 2. You have improved the visuals and introduced a different concept. I'm so glad you took the same concept and made a game. But I wish these innovations were not just visual. It's been almost a year since the game was released, but you still haven't added some mechanics. The most important issue is that when you organize a room after making it, new items are not added to the room again. You need to completely destroy the game and rebuild the large room after that. This is seriously so annoying. The second important issue is that the chambers cannot help each other permanently. This was the feature I used most in Mad Game Tycoon 2. I was setting up small versions of all the rooms in one corner, and then I was setting up larger rooms in other distant places. I am really enjoying this game. It does closely resemble Game Dev Tycoon or is it Mad Games Tycoon II. One of them lol.. Cant remember which, but with more depth and complexity. and if you have played them it will definitely give you a good jump in the game when getting started. For the price, and even better if on sale, this game is totally worth it. I value my games at $1 per hour of play. If I spend $40 dollars on a game I expect to get 40 hours of enjoyment out of it. So, I am way ahead of the curve with this game and I have really gotten my monies worth. My favorite feature... It remembers movie settings even if you start a new game. The info from what you have learned about the settings, genre/scene combos is still there. Saves me from keeping a spreadsheet of info. I also really like how it gives you info on fixing them when you get the sliders wrong. Doesn't give all the info just enough to get you going in the right direction. I also love that when hiring talent you can set up a setting to alert you when what you are looking for shows up in the hiring pool. Want a director with a specific rare skill. I don't think the tutorial was bad enough. I think devs could do even worst for a better user experience. Execution is also bad. GUI isn't intuitive at all. Too much micromanaging with too little impact. They should learn from Game Dev Tycoon since they are copying so many ideas from them. Not for me. 2/10.

The game is okay, but it feels like an AI slop game. It needs a lot of polish, but the developers haven't updated the game in nearly 5 months. The active support window for this game was about 3 months post launch. In terms of the game's mechanics, this is very similar to games like Mad Games Tycoon 2. That said, this game introduces mechanics that don't make a lot of sense. When you start developing anything more than a 1 scene ("E" film) you can start using cards to add to the film. However, what isn't very well explained is that you need to try to add cards that maximize the boost you get from them. If you do it poorly, your 4-star script suddenly turns into a 2-star movie. Also, just as a general nitpick, I don't understand why the developers felt the need to have us listen to the employees strain to ♥♥♥♥ when they use the bathroom. After a while I got tired of listening to it and just turned off the audio.

The game isn't very fun and the AI is jarring.

So, I downloaded the demo after seeing the main game come up on offer. The demo itself is very playable and I didn't even finish it before I decided on buying the game. It bears a huge similarity, and owes a big debt to, Mad Games Tycoon 2 (or the other way around, whichever was released first) and shares many of its characteristics. This is one of the reasons I enjoy playing it so much, as MGT2 is a favourite of mine. If you like Tycoon games, and you enjoyed MGT2, there's plenty here to keep you amused.
