Skelevania? Metroideton? Welcome to the bone zone, baby. WAT?!? - Skeletor
Took just over an hour to beat, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. All of the movement is smooth, I didn't encounter any bugs, and all the abilites feel really great. The level design is top notch, music and SFX are great, and the animations are fantastic. Whole experience is exactly what I want out of an indie game. I'm not a fan of metroidvanias, but the team did an amazing job all around.
This game is a short and sweet introduction to the Metroidvania genre
It's an absolutely air-tight bite-sized metroidvania that gets everything right. If ever there's a need for that old metroid-style experience, this game delivers that like a tasty snack.
"Super Skelemania" is a very short pixelated 2D metroidvania about a skeleton getting stranded on a foreign planet. There are only two bosses and it is meant to be played in one sitting and/or for speedrunning (there is an achievement for it). Presentation- and gameplaywise it is quite charming, but nothing groundbreaking. For a buck or two you get what you want. Give it a try if you like a short scratch for your genre itch!
