Cute and colorful tower defense game where you use cats to fight off waves of sushi. Sort of RNG based with map having different placement of buffs and blockades. Not a lot of replayability due to there being just a single level, some meta progression and very little build variation.

It's decent enough, probably not quite worth a tenner so get it on sale. It's missing some pretty standard features in the UI, that are more than a little strange to not have in 2026. Despite having roguelike upgrades, you can't see what you've selected in run anywhere. Despite being a tower defense, you can't click on the enemies to see their current health or any resistances they may have or any effects they're under. Tower range increases only seem to show SOME of the time on the range indicators. The game also definitely has caps that you can eventually hit, but you aren't told about them anywhere. I still can't figure out if there's an attack speed boosting cap, or if it's a cap on boosting at all. Some of the things definitely work differently on bosses, like poison, but that isn't stated anywhere. None of that's a BIG issue, but it's all honestly really basic things that shouldn't be going on in a modern game. And the game isn't so fantastic or unique in other ways as to excuse that. It's a really bog-standard tower defense, with the really standard tower types you'd expect in any tower defense game. It doesn't really take a genius to go 'Hey, let's make a flamethrower towe…

Saw Kaela Kovalskia play it. Great tower defense that seems to have gone under the radar. Skill tree meta progression. Maze creation. Towers get more expensive as you place them, which encourages you to use other tower type. Unit unlocks are random per playthroughs so each run should vary in strategy. Also, it is very cute.

If you crash your game gets permanently bricked and have to hard reset all progress to fix. Do not buy

I like it. It's fun. Bit of an odd entry to Sushi Cat, but it's well made and clearly has a lot of thought and polish put into it. I am looking forward for the game to get new updates - adding in new towers, enemies, locations, abilities, and etc..
