The gameplay loop is a unique blend of S&S2 and dungeon crawling. Sometimes, the game freezes when opening a crate.
this game has some weird difficulty spikes. like the enemies before the sentinal do like no damage and the sentinal dodges all of my attacks deals like 80-100 damage. How is that fair? Am i supposed to grind in the F*k @ss dungeon until im like lv 20 ?? Equally in the battle pits enemies should have similar stats but they such insane scaling. Only taunt spam works... What the hell is one supposed to do ?!
This game is unpleyable. It crashes evry 15 minutes an the constant freezing bugs prove it is an alpha game sold as a finished one. What a piece of ♥♥♥♥. Looking at it disgust me...
What you expect from SnS, early game is tidious but it glides well the more stats and gear you have, magic doesn't work in this game for whatever reason everyone is just resistant to all kinds of magic so don't bother. Can't play as Bard also since you can't taunt in dungeon crawler part which makes most of this part. As for Dungeon Crawler it was good try, but it's just annoying and turbo bugged, turns are being played without my input, sometimes it froze my game and I had to relaunch it, frustrated me so much I reinstalled game 3 times lol. In general gladiator part and story are what you expect, but dungeons can be exhausting to progress through.
Its a really good game i like it but for some reason it is buggy like when i do dungeon mode sometimes my character will freeze or icons will be invisible and i cant press anything or it will just randomly freeze during battles I am trying to play my way through it cause i really like the game but this game really needs some fixes and optimizations if all errors are fixed and some things are tweaked it might be up there as one of the best swords and Sandels games around or if the developer can add a hard save option where you can save at anytime on normal mode that could help too so i dont keep losing progress. At this point i cannot recommend this game until the freezing and crashing is fixed its a shame cause this is like one of the best Swords and sandals games in size and scope in my oppinion.
