Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
You can view my gameplay & early impressions: https://youtu.be/ydeulZcPuEY This is a neutral recommendation. In all honesty, I was pretty lost in this game. I'm not sure if I'm to blame or the game, so I'm leaving it as a neutral recommendation / positive. If the game is bugged, then it would be negative for sure though. I just don't know if it is. So I do believe that the onboarding for the game could be better for new players. I've played other survival games and I'm used to playing survival games where you have to observe and learn on your own. In this game however, when I died, I lost all my inventory. The materials I had grabbed also didn't re-spawn in the world. I tried starting a new game from a new save file, but it had no effect. The game started as though I had continued on my previous save file. Items missing. Materials not re-spawning. My knowledge in the log files shown on my tablet (said knowledge is worthless without materials though). From the store page video, the game looks pretty good. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not prioritizing crafting the hammer. Once I died exploring, all the materials I had were gone for…7 found this helpful
Dropped into an alien world with little to go on. I couldn't figure out what to do. I ventured outside the compound to find a PS2 planetary wasteland. I was greet by stairs and an item of which was scanned then thrown away because I had no idea what to do with it. I could see little blips moving around in the distance so I approached. It was robots walking in some kind of pathing hell. When I tried to interact I crumpled one under my god fist and then was promptly taken out by a police drone. Maybe a tutorial would help with giving the player some guidance. I don't really recommend this game.
