This is definitely under-built jank, but it's also kind of fun even if it doesn't really earn its keep. You have left and right weapons, which are basically your normal gun with very limited ammo and a low-damage high-push shotgun on cooldown that fuels your normal gun ammo on enemy hits. There's a progression option that sounds like you can switch to unlimited ammo and damage shotgun (if you want the game to lose its feel/concept entirely). You have a dash on low cooldown, a consumable slot (pickups are single-use consumables from a set of five that you choose when you start your run), and your rage mode button (basically charged by kills and some effects). Enemies near death sometimes get marked for finishing (maybe due to killing while stunned), which you perform by dashing through them, replenishing some health and getting a moment of slowdown (but also an annoying zoom and shake you can't disable). The slowdown can give you a brief edge, but does not actually have you un-slowed, so watch the lengthened dash cooldown. Enemies come with three kinds of health segments, color coded. Big game with the bright future!

I have been following this project closely through its demo versions and the past three playtests. While there has clearly been some progress over time, the game has unfortunately launched in an unacceptable technical state. Regardless of the graphical settings used, performance consistently plummets from high framerates down to 10–20 FPS, with any explosion - player or enemy caused - triggering severe lag spikes. For a full release, development progress feels like it has lagged behind, leaving too many fundamental technical issues untouched. The overall polish and control implementation leave much to be desired. Default keybindings—such as mapping primary fire to right-click and secondary to left-click—immediately give an unrefined first impression, even if they can be rebound. The movement controls are also awkward, as the WASD axes are diagonally tilted to align with the isometric perspective rather than standard directional inputs. Furthermore, collision across maps is severely inconsistent. Invisible barriers frequently block movement and lead to cheap deaths, while interactive objects like explosive barrels lack solid collision entirely, letting players phase right through…

Good overall, always adored twin stick shooters no matter what it may be. Could use a difficulty boost, but other than that, I like it. Hoping for more in the future!
