Ball physics feel sufficiently recreated, though additional pitch types & batting options would have fostered a better game. It possesses the same annoying scoring zone changes that occur mid-hit, as the original. While true alt. modes or variants are lacking, it at least provides x5 inning lengths & the possibility for local coop. Either with shared or separate input devices. Atmospheric audiovisuals do justice at immersing the player in the ambience of the original version. If you’ve ever been to Dave and Busters, there’s an arcade game that’s basically this. I’d considered how to buy one for like 10 grand but this $5 version is perfect for my son and I to enjoy together.

Hey Dev: 1) baserunners don't reset between innings, please fix! 2) Highscore initials entry box should be automatically selected so you can just type. 3) AI should wait for runners to cross home fully before quick pitching. So glad I found this gem. It's super fun to beat your highscores, and so satisfying to knock a grand slam off of the suprisingly tricky AI pitchers. It's quick to pick up, and if you have someone over it's easy to throw them a controller and play against each other regardless of their skill level. It's a complete and very fun experience, and it looks like there is more to come. This is why I love games and these are the types of games we need to support: not a cashgrab, just a quality engaging and very fun experience. If you got this far, you know what to do.

The highlight of this arcade game is the realistic physics.. As a batter, you can choke up on the ball or swing late to aim for right field. Most of the unlockable fields depends on amount of games played, so it's obvious the developer wanted you to keep the game up to 2 hours. You can also pitch the ball. As a batter, there is definitely a nice feel about aiming the ball and getting a home run. Needs more fields and interesting aspects to pay full price, but it is fairly priced. if the concept looks fun to you, get it. I'm not regretting my purchase at full price.

Definitely a stress-free relaxing homage to what arcade games used to be. As the game does not require a massive amount of engagement or focus, I can play this while talking to other people in the room, or am listening to something like a lecture or the news or something. Wish the developers would make another old-style video game like this one. Well done.

I love games like this in arcades, and this is a great approximation. Something as simple as this, great to hop in, play a few innings, and just chill. Customizations are fun and not hidden behind impossible achievements. I love the little baseball guys that hop around the board! I just have a few drawbacks. No camera movement. I wish I had a higher view to better judge the ball speed. Sometimes the animations get in the way of the pitch. You'll be watching your guys run bases and suddenly the ball launches and you strike out. Speaking of the ball, it's unpredictable when it will launch. You'll be watching the ball you hit to see where it lands, then the next ball launches. Even with that, I love this fun little game. I play them IRL whenever I see one in the while and it's a great fun option to have this is my library. I hope for a sequel or upgraded version with more features, there's a lot of potential here!
