About Tabletop Fantasy War
A turn-based strategy game inspired by classic tabletop games.
Deploy your unit groups on game boards set in the fantasy world of Korsak. Lead them to victory by capturing fortresses and engaging in strategic battles. And remember: your units are all you have. Every action is decisive. In campaign mode, you can configure and upgrade your unit groups through a progression system based on development trees and experience to earn honors. You will play missions with various objectives and rewards. Some secondary objectives will pose a significant challenge, requiring you to progress further to complete them.In skirmish and multiplayer modes, you can play with the various available factions on diverse game boards against computer-controlled or online opponents. Capture fortresses to obtain upgrades. Use the terrain to improve your groups' stats and, above all, use strategy to keep your units safe.Combat between unit groups is based on direct attacks and counterattacks, occurring at range or in melee. You must design your groups for each situation and use the formation system to improve your hit chance or decrease that of your opponent. The mechanics are simple. The most important factor is how and where you position your units before engaging in combat. What Steam players say

It's a cute little game for people who enjoy turn-based tactical strategy. I haven't messed around with the multiplayer yet. I think it's worth the modest price to support this developer, who is making the types of game that i love to play. I definitely recommend!6 found this helpful
A Gem for Tabletop Wargamers: If you miss the days of moving physical pieces across a hex-grid, Tabletop Fantasy War is exactly what you’re looking for. Unlike other tactics games, the focus here is strictly on positioning and group formations rather than resource management. The mechanics add a layer of depth that makes every move feel high-stakes, you can't just run away once you’ve committed to a fight. The unit progression in the campaign is satisfying, and the transparency from the solo dev is refreshing. Highly recommended for fans of classic tabletop strategy!4 found this helpful
Fun and simplistic turn based tabletop war game that feels cosy but still requires strategy and thought. Streamed a first look video on my channel and thoroughly enjoyed the first couple of missions that the campaign has to offer! Seems a good price for the content available, but I would definitely like to see more and bigger projects by this developer in the future :) Feel free to subscribe to my channel for more lols, entertainment and gameplay walkthroughs :)3 found this helpful
Fun and classic turn-based strategy gameplay. Easy to learn with a helpful tutorial, but still very strategic once you get into it. I definitely recommend it!2 found this helpful
Nice strategy game, tutorial was helpful. Different unit modes (atack/defence/move) and unlockable special abilities (like against buildings) makes sure it doesn't get too easy.2 found this helpful
Nice turn-based game that really delivers on the ‘tabletop’ promise! Cute art direction that is consistent across the menus and during gameplay and calls back to the games you would set up on your dining room table. Neat that all the characters look like actual figurines. Tutorial properly explains the basics and the first few campaign missions go from offensive to defensive objectives which is neat. Glad this game runs well even on old hardware!
