✦ AI summary
Players praise Tactera as an excellent and engaging strategy game that successfully distills RTS gameplay to its tactical essentials with a sleek holographic aesthetic, though some feel it deserves more exposure. The main complaint centers on accessibility issues in VR mode, where the UI positioning causes neck strain for taller players, making extended play uncomfortable or impossible for some.
A tactical war simulation game, built for VR but you can play it without VR if you want, it's basically an RTS game, deploy units, destroy enemies and win, war is hell, but this isn't real war. https://youtu.be/C3wXjIdw-BU4 found this helpful

Each unit category—ranging from armored ground vehicles to agile aerial attackers—comes with defined strengths, weaknesses, and battlefield roles. Because there are no traditional economic systems to manage, success depends on how effectively you deploy and maneuver these forces. This emphasis on pre-battle composition creates a strong strategic foundation, as players must anticipate threats and consi…
