About Tales Across Time
Tales Across Time is a linear, story-driven RPG experience from the creator of 8-Bit Adventures: The Forgotten Journey. It uses the classic short-story format to tell the tale of three very different characters; each living centuries apart, but in the same location.
Each narrative presents a different experience. Explore a haunted, ancient ruin; help a young woman save her town and her love; face off with an unstoppable masked killer. Many tales have been told across time; will yours be able to transcend it?

Hello friends, Today I will review the game Tales across Time. This is a indie RPG Maker game made by the same developers that made the game 8-bit Adventures series, which this author has also played in the past. As with the other game, this game looks and feels like a retro game made for a early Nintendo system. The music also fits this game very good. The one complaint I have is how short the game was. I was hoping it would be longer than what i played. Although others may find the shortness of the game good. The storyline is interesting and unique. I do not think I have played a generational rpg like this since Saga Frontier 2 on PS1. Basically, the player plays thru the ages in three different stories, from the past, present, and the future. The combat system is also interesting. Unlike other RPG's, there is no grinding involved, but the player can find special crystals that increase stats for each character. Anyways, here is my PROS and CONS list: PROS: - A short rpg with no grinding mechanics nor exp nor leveling. - A story that takes the player thru adventures in time. - Combat mechanics are easy to learn. - The music fits the game perfectly for a 8-bit type game. - Works…7 found this helpful
Had fun with this game for about 78 minutes, basic but really charming. Until I encountered a highly unbalanced battle I just could not win. And I was stuck in that area, couldn´t leave, Can not recommened1 found this helpful

A short game and not hard at all. But still a fairly nice game.
Short and sweet. A simple story-focused RPG with most of the usual complexities of RPGs stripped out. There's no grinding, EXP, levels, or equipment to manage. The combat system is also simple, but has unexpected depth owing to its focus on resource management. I had a good time with this one.
