I have about 5 hours in the game. Here's my take. First off, shoutout to Toblue for being an approachable developer and helping me with that odd situation and allowing me to create content for his game. Glad for your understanding! Now about the game -- it is a very light RPG in the sense that there isn't an overly-complicated plot or a long, drawn-out epic story. It is approachable, easy to digest, and made for most audiences. It has a simple charm and appeal to it, with our mysterious hero and his companions on a quest of what is a combination of Scooby-gang style mystery and self-discovery. The mechanics are simple, yet there is a certain flair in combat. The rune system is fun because you can customize your characters to suit your play style. There is very limited equipment in the game; the focus on the runes is key. And the game is pretty well-paced; no need to grind levels although you could if you wished. The rather short playtime might make some people feel the game isn't worth the cost, but the developer had the foresight to create new game plus modes which have randomizers.
