Welcome to Early Access for Tarot! In the world of Tarot, two powerful factions—the Major and Minor Arcana—battle for dominance. The Major Arcana currently rule the main city, and it's up to you to fight back.Play as a champion of one of the four houses—Cups, Pentacles, Swords, or Wands—and choose from four distinct classes: Page, Queen, King, or Knight. Customize your hero and shape your strategy in this role-playing, roguelike deck-builder.In Early Access, you'll explore a single map with multiple routes, each leading to different boss encounters. Find the best path, overcome challenges, and defeat one of three bosses inspired by the Major Arcana. Will you rise to power and change the fate of Tarot?Tarot is a Slay-The-Spire-Like themed around the Major and Minor arcana of the tarot and films of the silent era of films.
House and Deck- When you begin Tarot you will choose from 4 different Classes (Page, Prince, Queen, and King) houses each offering a different starting item and health bonus and Starting Deck (Cups, Swords, Wands, and Pentacles) all with different mechanics to aid the player in their journey.Enemies-Each enemy is based on the Major Arcana Story Events-Each run could have multiple story events depending on the player's chosen pathArtifacts-Players will be enhanced with multiple artifacts looted from harder enemies

I really like the idea of a tarot-based deckbuilder. So far I haven't seen any cards that heal. I hope those will be there down the line. Currently I seem to be stuck at the hermit stage without being able to progress further. Not sure if this is because it's still in early access. There's also currently no sound effects, and cards need to wait till the character animation finishes before they get "played". I'm also not a fan of the clunky animations of the characters. A smaller complaint, but the map screen is difficult to really tell where you can go. I suggest some kind of better highlight (like maybe locked areas are darker). I'm interested to see where this game goes, but currently the game is still rough in its early access stage.11 found this helpful
I really love that this game is centered around tarot but for now the game definitely feels empty. Some cards seem to have same abilities, there are some bugs and glitches, though the game is still playable. The visuals are beautiful, the map and arena look incredible, and character designs are really cool looking. I didn't see any story yet but I like how we progress through different maps based on tarot suits. From gameplay, this game is pretty much like Slay the Spire, it would be great if they get more of their own things, but for now it is okay this way. About cards, I really loved the pentacles and their guardian cards, definitely my favourite ones. There are plenty of other cards with their own mechanics but they are not that powerful yet. I hope other cards will also get such fun and interesting abilities. I see the developers really are trying their best and this game has some potential. I'll be looking forward to future updates.1 found this helpful
