A gorgeous retro-futuristic space story where we figure out the mysteries of a spaceship by avoiding robots and solving puzzles. An excellent first person adventure worth giving a shot. https://youtu.be/CNOl9l3S7vE

TechnoTsunami Preview TechnoTsunami is a promising first-person adventure game that has an aesthetic kind of like the classic adventure game Starship Titanic. Intro Hello everybody, I’m officially back with a brand-new preview article! In this one, I’m going to be covering a game called TechnoTsunami by Neon Castle and Pleasant Rain Ltd. When I first booted up TechnoTsunami I was pretty surprised by the fact that the setting and aesthetics reminded me of a classic point and click adventure game that was created by Douglas Adams (Of Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy fame) called Starship Titanic. The premise is obviously different but the overall feel of TechnoTsunami feels very much like that game. It even utilizes a lot of gold coloring for the starship. While playing the game I also decided to help out the developer a bit by finding any bugs that I may have encountered in the process of my playthrough. I wound up finding quite a few, just about all of them have been fixed now too so the developer is definitely on the ball with updates. It’s been fun helping them out with this as well and I’ve always felt that keeping an eye out for bugs is part of the review process since we’r…

The first 5 minutes of this game feel like a student project done by non-english-speakers who really liked Bioshock but are in waaaaaaay over their heads. No way am I going to stick around for a puzzle game where the opening cutscene has a bunch of typos.

This is the real indie game, with no sense of business at all. I was lucky to be given the opportunity of playing this game for free and I don't want tomake any comment about the game experience. Just keep up the great work and believe yourself forever. 加油~

With the exception of the writing which needed another proofread, TechnoTsunami is a work of art. Sweet Bioshock-esque vibes on a space cruise ship, puzzles that stayed fresh for hours, deep story. I'm not quite finished yet but thoroughly enjoying TechnoTsunami. 7 hours in and I'm still hooked. It has an excellent range of puzzles but they're seated in a much deeper mystery that keeps reeling me in (and the sweet setting certainly doesn't hurt!). Loving it.
