This game scratched the retro-style platformer itch! It's a great game that reminded me of all my favourites when I was growing up, like Mario, Mega Man, and Kirby. The B&W artstyle is simple and yet powerful. There is something about the high contrast of black and white used in retro-inspired games that really feels good. The game is well paced with 18 levels with 6 distinct worlds such as a graveyard and outer space. Each style of enemy is introduced at a reasonable point so to not feel overwhelming. The music is fun and catchy. There were only a few sections that felt a little unfair, (like a sudden drop to either a platform or death) but they never got in the way of the enjoyment of the game as a whole, because once I fell for the trick, I learned from it an pushed on. I really enjoyed this game. If you are looking for a short game that reminds you of a mix of your favourite classics from the good old days, this game is great for taking you down memory lane while giving you something completely new.3 found this helpful
Nice little (short) platformer. Just grabbed it on sale and finished it in just over an hour, but I'm sure it can be completed in less time, so I think it's a bit too short to pay the full price. But it was fun, nice pixel graphics, moderate difficulty, fun soundtrack, some almost-rage-quit moments and a bit of silly humor.2 found this helpful
