G'day mate! Things can be a bit confusing at times, so let me remind you what's going on... You are TY, the last of the Tasmanian Tigers. Raised by a family of Bilbies, you can only vaguely recall your real parents. You've always thought that all the other Tassie Tigers died a long time ago.
But then the Bunyip Elder found you, and told you that your family is alive, but trapped in the Dreaming. Now hold your horses... don't get upset... you see they're not stuck there forever, if you're up for a bit of an adventure!
You see, deep in the Outback, there's this kind of glowy portal thing that is a doorway to the Dreaming. And around that portal there are some carvings in the rock, where five ancient mystical Talismans used to lay. Now, all you have to do is find the five Talismans, put them in the carvings, and the portal to the Dreaming will open!
Now, before you go off like a frog in a sock, there's just this one SMALL problem. You see there's this evil cassowary - Boss Cass - who's also after the Talismans. Yes. THAT\ALSO\

Best 10 hours of my life
It's a relatively simple, old school platformer + collectathon with a lot of Australian charm. The graphics are stylized enough that they don't feel dated and the controls are smooth, at least from my experience with a mouse + keyboard. The game's difficultly level is pretty low allowing for a very casual and chill playthrough. There's the added bonus of skins (all available when you buy the game, no need to earn/buy separately) and bonus artwork that I don't recall seeing in the original GameCube version. There are some bugs unfortunately, nothing too terrible, just annoying. In the first rainforest level one of the picture boxes (by the end of the level waterfall) weirdly can't be seen up close so you have to snipe it. Sometimes opals/picture frames fall through the ground and you may have to restart the level if you can't attract them. Lastly, I did glitch through the final boss and fall to my death, but it didn't seem to ruin my hardcore run. Ultimately it's a simple game that doesn't require much effort. Simple puzzles, simple platforming, simple enemies that will allow you to relax and enjoy the visual charm of the outback.
I remember growing up that this was one of my favorite childhood games. It was nice to get to relive old memories despite some of its jank. Fun game for a quick 10 hour session in the Outback!
A childhood favorite that I still adore! I was on crutches for a while as a kid and my mom surprised me with this game so I'd have something to do. She couldn't have picked better!
