The wind is blowing hard, bringing to you the cry of a man named Malachai, whom some Derrigtown residents say is the devil in disguise. The foul breath of the enemy is coming to you now, but who are the good guys and who are the bad guys, you ask, doesn't Malachai just want to experience a different mode of existence?
What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players appreciate the charming art style, creative character design, and dedication evident in the game's development, with some noting the story has decent potential. However, the experience is hampered by significant technical issues including game-breaking softlocks that prevent progression, rough English translations, language settings randomly resetting, and unclear puzzle solutions that leave players stuck wandering aimlessly. While the foundation shows promise, most players feel the bugs and design problems currently outweigh the positive elements, even at no cost.

There's clearly a lot of love and dedication that went into this game. I love the art style and aesthetic and weird characters. That being said, there's still some room for improvement. More than once I was stuck for several minutes wandering around until I randomly came across the specific area or object that the game wanted me to interact with in order to proceed. Some of the English translations are rough, but I know they recently updated this. I think that after more play-testing and a couple patches, it has the potential to be a great game by a talented developer. I'm looking forward to playing more and seeing what else the game has to offer.4 found this helpful
A miserable glitchy experience. Ignoring the fact that the game has a habit of resetting the language from english to spanish, or that it's writing and humour is subpar - the more gameplay oriented challenges are entirely capable of arranging themselves in such a way that you can be softlocked from proceeding, making the overall experience an absolute slog to progress through. Even at the price of free, I feel the cost of experiencing this is still too high.1 found this helpful
The devs reached out to me to play this game on stream, and for an RPG game, it was fairly decent. I have not beaten the game yet, I have about 3 hours of actual game play completed. Fairly simple gameplay with good neat story. I will say the dash is the zoomies I always wanted in every game that allows you to run. IM SO FAST IT'S AWESOME Please note before playing: 1. The volume in the menu is set to 100 be default, so be aware of this blasting your eardrums before you start the game so you can turn your volume down. 2. The default language in menus is Spanish, you will be prompted for language select after starting a new game. 3. TW:
There is a section where you are asked to choose to tell someone to unalive themself or not
1 found this helpful
