To chess players the world over, the Staunton style pieces make chess easier to enjoy. Perhaps this could be added to this innovative game.5 found this helpful
It's Chess. I have no witty title nor jokes. it's chess. The Chess Variants Club tells you all you need to know about it in its title. It has every variant of Chess you can think of, most of which I had no idea even existed. This game is also a good reminder of just how bad I suck at chess; even on the easiest difficulty I generally get my ass handed to me from three different directions. The game does give you the opportunity to practice thinking ahead with its challenges - a separate mode in which the pieces are already set up so that if you do it right, you will win within the allotted limit of moves. I found that helpful, and a lot less frustrating than playing through a game only to lose because I a made a bad move ten moves prior that I totally forgot about and thus couldn't learn from. The game assumes you already know the rules of chess, so if you've never played before, look 'em up. If you do know how to play, look up some strategies and practice them here before taking on your friends. I did that and I definitely noticed an improvement in my skills.3 found this helpful
Chess is a N1 game in the world. I know the owner of this studio likes Chess very much. If you want to improve your skills in Chess buy this game. Most players who plays Chess on Steam are weak players and are not enthusiasts so they give negative feedback to the game. I like this game. Today I have got my first achievement. This game has a lot of contents. I am not the best player in Chess, but I am learning. The game is the bargain.1 found this helpful
