About The Chronicle
When a mysterious package appears in his living room, Detective Walter Miles is suddenly transported to a World War II Era newspaper building.
You, in the role of Detective, will need to explore this strange but breath taking environment, collect the gems to activate the portal and escape. Along the way you'll explore and learn the back story of this strange environment. Maybe you'll solve the mystery of the reason that you are here, and who is responsible for this abduction.
The programming and art, etc., is handled by master 3d artist Don "Artstrong" Armstrong, bringing his 10 plus years of 3D art experience to a brand new game. Much assistance was provided by Chris "Warcabbit" Hare, and also code tutoring assistance was provided by William Davis.
I utilize every scrap of Unreal 5 and it's new technologies.
Warning: This game does NOT hold your hand, Explore and solve the mystery to escape.
NOTE: The Chronicle is a planned series of chapters, Chapter 1 is WIP. I will continue to update and add content over the next few months to a year, until it is completed. Then I will move on to the next chapter in the series.

"The Chronicle" is a low key asset flip, a bunch of other people's assets assembled badly to make a basic game, typically this kind of thing is done by amateur developers without sufficient budget, talent and/or staff to do the job of game development professionally. It's then quickly rushed into Steam Direct. And, unsurprisingly, this never results in a product with any quality, interest, or value for gamers. This is a bit of complete garbage as yet another amateur "developer" went on a shopping spree on FAB/the Unreal Marketplace, cludged a bunch of other people's assets onto a basic game template, and then spent $100 on Steam Direct so he could tell his imaginary girlfriend that he's a game developer. Ostensibly the intention was to create yet another of literally thousands of Unreal based first person adventure games, but this attempt failed, resulting in a bug riddled cludgy mess that was supposed to provide a WW2 time travel adventure, but fails about as hard at doing that as it does at being a game. From one Horror game lover to another, PLAY THIS GAME. IDC if you jump scare easily, or don't. YOU;LL GET SCARED. loud sounds, creepy atmosphere, freaky game play. (NO NOT THAT KINDA FREAKY YOU SICK FK). you might sh*t and P*ss yourself playing this game, but its all part of the experience. ITS FREE TO PLAY SO WHY WOULDN'T YOU SIMPLY ADD THE GAME TO YOUR LIBRARY AND PLAY IT FOR EVEN AN HOUR. Heya folks! The Chronicle is Mr. Artstrong's first game release, and as such it's a little rough around the edges, but I still think it's worth experiencing. The thing I liked most about the game was the otherworldly visuals for the sky, that was pretty impressive. Great to play
A pointless waste of time "game" with lousy graphics, no plot, and you'll get stuck between an opening door and the doorway. There is no save or continue, so if you glitch out, you have to start all over again. Don't waste your time.
