The Cruise 2

The Cruise is an abandoned 2D retro pixel Space Invaders/Galaga ripoff. While it's not in Early Access, it's incomplete and lacking features that will never be added to the game. The two game modes that were implemented are a boss rush mode and an endless mode where you shoot stuff and dodge bullets. The controls are fairly wonky as the ship erratically aims left and right. There's a series of ship upgrades, and belying the developers true, if failed intentions for this unfinished game, it looks like there's the stub of a cash shop. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted desig…

Excited for the overhail

This is actually surprisingly pretty fun, but it's also a tad unfinished. All six achievements unlock so you can technically 100% the game, but profile features are limited on this game. I like that the shooting combat has kind of a "pulsing" feel to it, in that each blast of the bullet is kind of timed with the music. There are several ships and they each have their own abilities. The best ship to win the game is the healer ship, for obvious reasons. There's supposedly supposed to be a campaign mode but it says "WIP" so I guess it was never finished. Endless mode is basically an arcade mode, the whole game is very easy except for one boss that shoots lasers. I found this one boss almost impossible but after taking it out I quickly cleared everything else. It's not bad for a free game (My expectations were low).

Really pretty fun and i was surprised with how many different classes and abilities there were. I'd love a campaign for this game for sure, good work!
