The Doors of Trithius is a roguelike RPG that drops you into a vast, procedurally generated world where you'll battle over 100 enemy types across eight unique dungeon types while managing survival through crafting, exploration, and faction warfare. With 200+ combat abilities, 14 non-combat skills, and a dynamic world that evolves based on your choices, every playthrough offers a completely different experience driven by tactical turn-based combat and deep character customization.

Recently, returned to this one; am liking it so much that I purchased a second, 'drm free', copy from the 'devs' website. Highly recommend this game; particularly if one is into incredible difficulty per surviving in a, massively, procedurally generated world. The game offers a 'Debug Mode' which allows for using a 'number seed' to share one's world with others; & this is done before creating one's character to allow for testing numerous builds per the same world! The game, also, allows UI Scaling per text, etc...a must for us older gamers! So, if you like 'rpgs' that offer a high degree of difficulty per leveling/surviving, smooth in-game mechanics, combined with a huge procedurally generated world/biomes/caves/regions...this is the one.1 found this helpful

Very fun and surprisingly deep game. Lots of different starter classes but everyone can learn everything anyway. If you like stoneshard and want a more easy approach try it out it won't dissapoint. Also there are many things happening on the map and exploring is really rewarded. I play as a cook and a traveler right now and i just go with what loot i find, because you can just start using it and get exp. So my traveler turned into a fire/storm mage and it feels really good!
Based on version 0.6.1 Why this is important? Game is already fun and playable, mechanics are good. At the same time, I feel this version pretty accurately represents of what this game is vs what it wants to be, or even should be. Yes. in some aspects game feels barren and unfinished. Development progress is constant, even if slow, which makes sense if this is done mostly by one guy? I still recommend it even now for anyone wanting to try some rougelike sandbox simulation game.
This game is peak.
