The Elevator Game with Catgirls

It's Slay the Princess in that it is a VN where you are expected to repeat the same basic loop many times in order to get all of the endings. Unlike Slay the Princess, you have to look around for clues as to how to find the next combination of building floors to travel to instead of just navigating the dialog tree differently to continue. I very much enjoyed my time with it. The game can be beaten in around 4 hours, so take that into consideration when thinking about if you want to wait for a sale.

Very haunting and atmospheric game. Nails liminal spaces and the chilling anticipation of waiting to see if anything supernatural will happen, or if you're a fool for believing it would.

an absolutely charming little game with a beautiful soundtrack! the true ending was a bit anticlimatic outside of the interaction with kirin, but the credits song that plays is utterly beautiful and i'll definitely be adding it to my spotify playlists

Entertaining and atmospheric horror visual novel, really enjoyed my time with it

Decent game. There's the vibe is right, and a good balance of text and story advancing. A hickup, is the kind of "open to explore" implication, while actually each "branch" has to be done in a certain order. Making it tedious to progress as you'll have to re-visit things which you had the right solution at the wrong time (And thus wrongfully concluded it was a wrong solution). I was afraid this kind of cryptid explore game would have no conclusive ending, and all bad ones without much explanation. There's an end which I found decent, and could have stopped there and let imagination run for the continuity. I'm a little disappointed in the post-credit that seemed to go against the main end. While I like horror and VNs, I think this kind of concept was quite new to me and it was decent ^^
