This is a free platformer game that tries to present itself as "charmingly" retro and janky, but isn't really charming. I don't like the sound effects, I don't like the flash when bosses die, and I don't like how dying against the final boss sometimes had five or six "Game Over" screens pop up in a row before the protagonist actually reappeared at the checkpoint. The good news is that there's a single achievement that won't take long to get; if I hadn't kept dying against the final boss, it certainly would've taken me less than twelve minutes to beat. However, in The End, that's not enough to keep me happy.

This game is a masterpiece and a metaphor for life: A man trots through life. If he fails, he must start again, a new. Every time. He has to do so until he finds how he can find and keep fire within him to defeat not only death but uber death. But in the process of defeating uber death, he loses parts himself and the key to everything he possessed. While losing a part of him frees him to reach higher then ever before, the key is something he needs desperately. So, he wanders to the desert, takes leap of faith from a cliff and survives. He proceeds to smash down an impregnable wall by returning to where he came from to find more fire to keep within. The crosses the desert, takes another leap of faith and finds the remains of an animal that changes him. Now more in touch with his animalistic side he can summon the spirit of the fire at will. He breaks down ever thicker impregnable walls, four time as strong as the first, and sails to the place that they blocked from him. There he finds the first anchor point to which he might return if needed… because the greatest challenge still lies before him. He must confront the giant subconscious monster that claws its way to the surface …
