THE GAP

THE GAP is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this "art experience". Instead of being a game, THE GAP is a software application that presents a poorly made art exhibition. This pretentious nonsense is a small MS-Paint tier cartoon about a gap. Seriously. It's like a little pointless cartoon. This might as well have been a Youtube video. Ugh. We get this non-game shovelware on Steam whenever your usual Starbucks barista/McDonalds frycook art school dropout finally gets a restraining order from the local art galleries so turns to Steam Direct to try get their art published somewhere so they can finally dream of moving out of their parents basement. It's true that games can be art... art is where the pinnacles of craftsmanship and quality meet vision and narrative to create an experience far greater than the sum of the parts. This isn't a game at all, and the craftsmanship and narrative are terrible. This isn't making art better, it's just making gaming worse. For those unfamiliar with what actually makes something a game, a "game loop" describes the interaction and feedback a gamer has when playing a game. Tetri…

not fun, couldve been fun with discovery but there is nothing to discover, if there is something to discover its not fun trying to discover it. do better.

Yo uh so could someone help me i dont know how to complete this

I don't know how deep is the message this game is trying to convey, but I actually couldn't get there at all: besides spamming clicks on the few elements on the screen, I have no clue about what to do. I could only make one step further by looking at an achievement (I have 2/7), nothing more.

Contains all the features of real life and developed by 1 person. Bravo.
