The Great Couturier

Really enjoying the rebuild. I did not play the old version, but saw some pictures of it and the rebuild looks way better. It's a nice little daily game to log in for 15min, design, learn, vote, and log in again later. As a straight dude who is into design and fashion, I wish more games also included men's fashion

Pros: + Simple rules + Quite relaxing + Trendy and modern outfits + Multiple models to choose from + Price Cons: - Limited selection of clothing - It’s quite difficult to reach the level of Great Couturier - No storyline in the game

Review is for the new version of the game - A major thing to me is that we're not able to unequip clothing pieces by just clicking them again, to remove for example outwear from your outfit, you need to completely strip and start over. - You can only adjust the layers AFTER you've made your design, not during, which makes no sense to me as they can be important while creating a design. - Speaking of layering, this is minor but the layers going from right to left instead of from up to down is very unintuitive. It would be lovely if we could save an entire outfit, or maybe have an option to unequip some makeup (especially since the pink blush you're forced to wear doesn't look right with all skin colors). Could be fun if the competitions had themes to dress up to for example. There's a lot of ways to design but very little to do with it afterwards which is a shame. I really do like this game and you can create some really interesting designs! This game has so much potential to be absolutely amazing

I love this game. No nonsense play to dress up, no extra money needed. The only thing I wish is that we could have a wardrobe where the outfits we tried in competitions would be permanently. That way we could try many outfits that we collected from the competitions and have fun with that. If this game had that it would be perfect.

I bought it at a big discount and don't regret it. I can’t even think of any similar games—maybe some mobile free-to-play ones come to mind. But on Steam, I don't know anything quite like it. The graphics are really pleasant. It's replayable (for a while, but for this price, that's fine). It's also super simple, which could be a downside for some, but I enjoyed it.
