Welcome to The Homecoming Exhibition, a high-fidelity immersive gallery experience created in Unreal Engine 5 with Lumen. Immerse yourself in a fully interactive 3D world of modern art, sculptures, and culture as you explore the beautiful & extraordinary minimalist environment inspired by Hiroshi Senju Museum. Experience the future of art with "The Homecoming Exhibition" showcasing the groundbreaking work of Nako Baev.
Minimal yet modern & elegant I strived to create an open, luminous space where people would observe my works, relax and spend time in contemplation. I took on the creative challenge to design something where people could get inspired and driven towards their dreams and desires. My mandate was to explore how far I could push the quality of a real-time 3D museum for digital art. Listening to our lovely ambient soundtrack created by Evolsound which perfectly fits the gentle and calming sounds of nature around it. If you closely pay attention to the details you could find yourself an easter egg. Making it one unique experience you'll never forget.
About the art & the artist:
Nako Baev is an award-winning 3D artist who has worked on various projects in the film and video game industry. His current exhibition focuses more on modern, minimal and restraint outlook giving the goal of this type of exhibition to showcase a number of pieces in a way that allows viewers to fully appreciate their beauty and simplicity.
The pieces themselves are characterized by clean lines, a limited color palette, and a focus on form and texture they feature abstract or minimalist compositions. The sculptures are made of materials such as Calacatta marble, Ekeberg marble, or limestone. Each piece would have ample space around it to allow viewers to appreciate it fully and to avoid distractions.

The Homecoming Exhibition is a free Art gallery, of groundbreaking work of Nako Baev. Worked on Win 11, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Made with Unreal 5 engine. Use ESC key then Tab key to get to Quit program or settings. It is going to require more power to play, so have a better computer hardware. Maybe try this, if you like Art.3 found this helpful
Unfortunately, while it looks interesting and I would like to enjoy it, it feels laggy and I can't quit the game or even access the settings menu without getting a graphics card error that crashes my computer.
For the price of free I can't complain. It's a small art exhibit made in a virtual medium. Makes me want to do something similar with my work!
The Homecoming Exhibition is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this software. This non-game is a simple 3d "art" exhibition, which answers the question... what happens to all those Starbucks baristas and McDonalds fry cooks when the local art galleries take out restraining orders? That's right.. the answer is "Steam Direct". They pay $100 USD and dump their rejected high school art class dropout trash onto Steam, in the hopes someone will get confused and think it's a game and accidentally see the aforementioned trash. For those unfamiliar with what actually makes something a game, a "game loop" describes the interaction and feedback a gamer has when playing a game. Tetris, for example, has a game loop where a random block appears, the gamer interacts with the block to position it, and then the game decides if that finishes a row or not, increases the players score if any rows were completed, then gives the gamer another block to position. Counter-Strike has a game loop where a player seeks another player, tests their skill against that player by shooting them or being shot, the computer rewards the player if they…
