Overpriced and just not fun9 found this helpful
Played on Linux using Proton Exp, Graphics are okay but the same textures are used everywhere, Sound is okay but a bit weak and tinny, Game Play is Boring, Find key, open door, do a puzzle and get key, move to next door, open door, do puzzle, get key, and repeat, repeat, repeat, etc, some times you might get a girl chase you, just run around the small room till she disappear's, and sometimes it's baby's that chase you around, if you get hit by the Girl or Baby's then you lose some health, you can find health needles as you search rooms, as well as some other items that you will need to do certain puzzles in the next room, etc, Why it's down as a Horror Game is beyond me as it's not at all scary and has Zero Atmosphere, Boring Game with mostly very Boring Puzzle's, Not Recommended even on sale.6 found this helpful
A classic indie horror. If you played one, you know what to expect: scary environment, puzzles and locked doors. At least you won't get nightmares from the game's "creature". Despite the fact that this series contains more titles, I don't believe you need to play them all to get the backstory. In actuality, there isn't much of a story to be told. The game doesn’t bore you with introduction. You discover yourself in a house and immediately understand that you will need to search everywhere for different keys to open the several doors. Here, zodiac signs are the central topic, and each key opens a door with a corresponding symbol. The order of the keys you uncover follows the horoscope —Aries, Taurus, and so on. The beautiful home where apparently tall people reside is the first thing you see. Doors, windows, hallways, and desks are all enormous and black, giving you the impression that you are a small child. Although the selected decor is attractive, everything looks too similar and closer examination exposes washed textures that use more resources than they need. Several games, especially first-person horror games, have poor optimization, however this problem could also be due t…6 found this helpful
Good jumpscares and great puzzles the atmosphere is also very interesting. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes solving puzzles.5 found this helpful
Curse is a puzzle adventure game. You must solve riddles in each of the mansion's twenty-four main rooms to unlock the door leading to the next area. You'll need to "navigate the loop, the maze, and the time room" to get from one area to another, all while being attacked and experiencing illusions. If you're up for a fun puzzle, I do recommend this game for you. If you're not good at figuring out puzzles it will be daunting for you. I enjoyed the game. "I had this on my wish list for a while now and finally decided to get on sale. " "First impression, haven't played the game long enough but might update once I clock in more time." First off, the graphics and artwork is amazing. The atmosphere sets jumps scares really well. The game itself has a very old school feel to it where you solve puzzle for key items and proceed to the next part. Due to being used to modern style games the quality of life it could feel on the more challenging side however it it does not takeaway from the games fun. Especially if you enjoy keeping mental track of things/or taking notes along the way. Keep in mind, you do get thrown into the world without much of a explanation. Due to low playtime I'm assuming you learn more as you progress further into the story. For those who don't think they are up to the challenge the game provides small clues without spoiling to much of the objective. In my opinion the puzzles aren't too difficult. One the the best features I personally enjoyed was being able to interact with objects. Which some caught me off-guard in a good way. As well as some trippy environmental moments that made go "Woah". I have not played…
