About The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero

Lloyd Bannings returns to his hometown to follow his late brother's footsteps and join the Crossbell Police Department. However, he finds himself assigned to a ragtag new division called the Special Support Section, which performs odd jobs and helps people in need. But he and his new teammates slowly discover that their vibrant city hides a dark criminal underbelly...as well as a few terrible secrets.

About

Experience Crossbell in this exciting chapter from the renowned The Legend of Heroes series! The site of an ongoing territorial struggle between the Erebonian Empire and the Republic of Calvard, Crossbell has developed into a prosperous city-state and one of the continent’s leading economic centers.

After three years away from his hometown, Lloyd Bannings returns in order to follow his late brother's footsteps and join the Crossbell Police Department. However, when he arrives, he finds he's been assigned to the Special Support Section, a new division that handles odd jobs and minor requests. He meets his new teammates, which include Elie MacDowell, the granddaughter of the city's mayor; Randy Orlando, a womanizing ex-soldier; and Tio Plato, a young tech genius.

Though their department is mocked by the media and looked down on by the rest of the CPD, Lloyd and his friends continue to fight to make their city a better place. As they do, however, they slowly come face-to-face with the criminal corruption gripping their city. Little do they know just how deep the shadows of Crossbell City go...

New saga but the long story continue on. This game do really shine bright with the main cast despite them being much smaller in size compared to previous games. The general plot and villain could've been a bit stronger for how interesting it seems. Gameplay side, it's a good continuation from Librel saga. I do have some others nitpicky complains but overall, Trails from Zero are a breath of fresh air and I'm excited to get starting with Azure eventually, especially with how many questions are still yet unanswered.

ITS. SO. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PEAK. Took me so long to finish this masterpiece of a game. I'm so glad I finally did it though, god this game is just absolutely amazing. The characters, the story, the gameplay, God I legitimately can't find a single fault with this game. STORY - INCREDIBLE. You're taken to a world that is jam-packed full of lore and things you just can't wait to figure out. NPCs are fully fleshed, side quests also feel right at home and natural, very embedded into this world. It's very slice of life until its not, so if that's your thing (like me) you'll feel absolutely right at home. As with the other trails games I've played, there is a clicheness to the story, with the scene tropes and all, but I absolutely adore it. CHARACTERS - ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. I cannot emphasize how much I love these characters. All of them are given their own story chapters and opportunities to show off their unique story and nature, and I absolutely loved every single moment of them. All of them are just absolutely perfect, and just makes the story hit even harder. Each moment of happiness and grief they feel just absolutely pull your heartstrings, just perfect. GAMEPLAY - Amazing. A …
