After completing the first chapter I will now aggressively urge my friend to play this game instead of War Thunder1 found this helpful
This is a very good remake of the first game, with many modern QoL changes, more dynamic combat and a lot more voice acting. Overall, it's a perfect way for newcomers to get into the series. There *is*, however, a very small problem with this game, that can be easily fixed either on a patch or by mods: The all-new localization is pretty decent, but it doesn't follow all the terms used on the previous games of the series for a couple things, which can generate a bit of confusion. Not huge but still something to be fixed.
Amazing start to finish

The perfect JRPG doesn't exis- Finally a RPG that respects your time, it's a nice blend of both action combat and turn based combat mixed into a hybrid system, really merges in the best of both world and something that genuinely more JRPG need to start doing. The game runs amazing and there is even a fast forward mode to grind faster if you're only killing easy enemies for example, you can explore everything but you can also fast travel everywhere. It just gets rid of everything you hate in JRPGs and bring more of everything you love. The story is wholesome and light hearted, I highly recommend this game, it's honestly one of the best JRPGs on Steam currently.
[h1]RECOMMENDATION WITH A HUGE CAVEAT[/h1] While not terrible, some areas in this game are extremely poorly optimized. Regardless of how good your PC is this will mean some inconsistent framerates even when you lower your video settings. Besides that, while I do enjoy the original more, the QoL in this game is sure to make it a great entry point for anyone on the fence!
