About The Legend of Sebb Linus
The Legend of Sebb Linus is an old-school top-down stealth game.
Sebb Linus, is a former NCF agent who foiled countless terrorist attacks. There are many stories and legends about him, but few people know the truth. But men like Sebb Linus have become expendable to Sallantica.
The story begins here, 8 months before the events in SF-32, in the Rio'Amaronja Jungle. Brooklyn, the leader of a special unit, was sent by Sallantica to the Rio'Amaronja Jungle to protect a secret government facility from possible terrorist attacks.
But over time, something went wrong. Families and relatives of employees complained that their loved ones were behaving strangely when they spoke to each other on the phone. Others were no longer getting any leave to come home. At some point, contact broke off completely. Units that were sent there never returned.
Now Sallantica was once again reliant on men like Sebb Linus. His last assignment: to infiltrate this secret government facility, which turns out to be a clone laboratory, and find out what's going on.
But TLH also enters the scene and has completely different plans.
Experience the old-school stealth genre here.
Infiltrate enemy bases without being seen by the enemy. Use the room scanner (the radar) to keep an eye on your surroundings.
Sneak past enemy soldiers or take them out unnoticed.
But be careful, hide the bodies before they are discovered by the other soldiers.
Pick locks and hack wires to overcome obstacles.
Use computers to get information.

There are 3 difficulty levels to choose from, which not only affects the damage, but also the number of guards and sometimes the routes they patrol.

Although it goes with just the basic stealth gameplay, the game runs great and delivers exactly what it says. If you're a fan of stealth games, you'll quickly recognize which series this title pays homage to. There's nothing wrong with that as long as the game captures what makes them special. However, because this is an indie game with a very restricted budget and production team, you should approach the game with an open mind. The story ties everything together but it’s not very memorable. It involves some secret facility in the middle of a jungle and goes into sci-fi with cloning. Everyone sent there has never returned, so they've turned to you because you appear to be the only one who can figure out what's going on. There are no voices; instead, you read text throughout cutscenes and other events. The gameplay isn't too different from massive stealth games, but it also doesn't provide a lot of options. You can move about, fight, and crouch to reduce the sound of your footsteps. There are no special skills, such as sticking to walls, peering around corners, or leading foes into traps. This game is ok for being developed by a single indie developer. However, there are some issues as to why I only played it once with no desire to replay. The main reason is that it's a stealth game with no manual save. This means you will be replaying the same sections over and over again when you get caught by the guards. Another reason is that combat is atrocious in this game. I tried with a keyboard/mouse and controller and both are highly awkward. I was constantly getting killed by the enemies while fumbling around trying to aim properly. Another thing that bothered me is that this game suffers from Unreal Engine shader compilation stutter where the frame rate will occasionally drop for seemingly no reason no matter what you change in the graphic settings. Another aspect of this game that has not been addressed by the developer is that searching enemies and taking money off them serves no purpose at all. There is literally nothing to do with the money you take off the guards. Also, nothing interesting can be found searching computers and lockpicking is just a sequence of simple button mashing that could be improved upon.
