The Little Witch Shop: New in Town

This is the first game I've tried from the studio, and considering that this is Early Access I can tell from the start of playing that there are some UI and gameplay bugs. However, the art style is unique and the writing is charming! There are similar games within this specific niche, but it's nice to see more being added onto the list of the cozy-witch-potion sim genre. Hoping to see this game improved as time goes. this game is the best game i have evr played in my life. i cried upon seeing the beautiful title screen of this game. It has completely changed my life.

Cute little game! I like the music! Characters seem fun too. A couple things I felt like I needed to figure out, but once I did, it was smooth sailing!

There are some issues with the game, which I was expecting since this is early access. Things are explained clearly if you do the tutorial...but not everything. I had to restart after playing a week since I realized I was missing out on having familiars help me...I didn't realize I needed to travel the forest to get them (not sure why I assumed I should get some income/herbs first. felt a bit foolish and restarted so that I'd have a better start. It was pretty funny to have one of the npcs comment on how great it was that I had a familiar when I...didn't actually have one lol). Oh, and the art is lovely! Despite how charming it is, though, I'm not sure I would recommend it in its current state. It's slow-going, money takes a while to accrue even for simple things, and it feels as though none of the actions I make matter to the plot at all (for example, a witch has come in to comment about all the money I'm making more than once...and each time I had less than 5 gold lol). I've played around 2 hours so far and have not unlocked any familiars with abilities yet, nor has the "brains" vs "strength" factor mattered in any of the shop activities -- I've had no quests regarding familiar…
