Unbelievable amount of bugs in the tutorial make this both unplayable and a waste of space

good turn based strategy game! big fan of the visual style and direction and the personality the three protagonists have. only critique I really have is that there's not many levels, though chronologically this is supposed to all take place all in one day so it makes sense, and that the music can get a little redundant after a while and can be a little unfitting with what's going on, especially for the final level. again, though, it was fun to play! good entry level turn based strategy game :3

The Most Epicest Snowball Fight Ever! is a game that I liked almost immediately because it takes something as simple as a snowball fight and turns it into a proper little tactical adventure. I play as a group of kids defending their homes from imaginary snow monsters, using snowballs, cocoa and their own imagination to fight back. The whole thing has a playful feeling that fits the idea perfectly, and I liked how it manages to make a silly childhood activity feel surprisingly strategic. The turn based combat is the main reason I enjoyed it. I have to move my characters around the snowy environments, find cover and decide which enemies are worth attacking first. Positioning actually matters because staying in the open can leave my characters exposed, while good use of the environment can make a big difference. I also have to think about enemies that can regenerate, so focusing my attacks properly is important instead of simply throwing snowballs at whatever is closest. The imagination powers are probably my favourite part of the combat. As the fights become more intense, the kids can start bringing their imagination to life with increasingly ridiculous abilities. This game is adorable. The lil protagonists are fun and it has very warm and cozy vibes (important because of all the snow). Cool lil combat system with great cartoon energy.
