You will have to step into the shoes of Odysseus (Ulysses) and his journey home after the fall of Troy. It took him ten years to reach Ithaca after the ten- year Trojan War. Become a part of Homer's original myth, live the adventure, and educate yourself during the process.

Beware; this is not a simple task. You will have to escape from Goddess Calypso's island, blind Cyclops Polyphemus, face the witch-Goddess Circe, go to the land of the death in search of an oracle, avoid the Siren mermaids, pass between the six-headed monster Scylla and the whirlpool Charybdis, and visit the Sun God's island. Finally, you will have to murder the suitors and get together with your beloved wife, Penelope and your fearless son Telemachus.

This is a weak point and click adventure. The game has a history of crashing under Windows 10, and if you have a monitor higher than 1080p and you use Windows DPI scaling to make text legible, the mouse only works in the top left hand quarter of the screen, rendering the game unplayable. Easy to catch during a beta test, easy to fix, developers didn't bother. There are better point and click adventures you could be playing.15 found this helpful
Very nice puzzle game about history after Trojan War ....which i dont recomand :D i mean is a nice game that you can play if you really bored :D :P ...in fact dont even know if recomand or not but i will go mostly on dont recomand because since is a puzzle game it kind of dont give you so much tips about what to do so you have to figure out without any tip ...i dont say this is wrong but all others puzzle games i played it had a tip button that helped you figure out ...but this dont anyway still can be played end enjoyed if figure out what you need do ...if you like Odyssey ..and puzzle game...and wanna try this game ..enjoy !10 found this helpful
The Odyssey HD is an indie point and click adventure game. The game has plenty of places to visit, puzzles and mini games. I played the Greek version, in which the dialogues are humorous and fun to read. An interesting and fun way for children and groneups to get to know Homer's Odyssey as its plot is ,as possible could be, accurately based on it. The graphics-drawings are also nice. What I disliked on the other hand was the lack of animation ( the characters just move from one place to another fading out and fading in). Also the control mechanism is not the best. Music is also poor. Overall it is a fun game, appropriate for any age, educational for anyone interested in ancient Greek Mythology, and IMO it is definatelly worth our support.7 found this helpful
