The Oily Depths

I dislike how the binary reviews of steam don't allow me to say "meh" it's a decent atmospheric game about operating a machine along the lines of something like The Other Side, Carbon Steel or Angel Engine. However unlike those games this poses a minimal challenge (I crashed the ship and caused a fire for the sake of getting 100%) and does not have enough narrative or atmosphere to stand on its own. Nothing offended me, and it'd be a pleasant free find for free or in a charity bundle on itch.io, but I cannot in all honesty say that this is worth 3 euros of your money.

I think it's a lil' too short. The price tag is fair though. Mixed feelings.

It’s a short game, but fun to play, with gameplay reminiscent of Iron Lung, even if it doesn't deliver the same level of fear.

A compact game, you'll probably finish in less than an hour. Feels a little bit like a demo. Enjoyable atmosphere, interesting setting.
