The Old City: Leviathan

You have of course been to the beach, but have you ever considered the two paths that there lie before you? One, is to sunbathe. Keeping yourself within the understood. Perhaps it is boring, but not enough for it to be an issue. Should you be the type of person inclined to choose this option. The calm of predictability is after all what you are seeking. The boredom and sanity are one, in this sense. If that's the case, I don't know that this game has much to offer you (beyond a shift in perspective you currently don't desire). The other option, is to venture out into the water. Will it be cold at first? Most definitely. That is what keeps some sunbathing, I think. Will you grow accustomed to the cold? In part, but always it will return, your body telling you that, should you stay too long, you will depart completely. Why do it then? Why venture into the painful & deadly? That which may only be endured, not enjoyed? Conviction. Conviction that the suffering will yield something, with an immense value. Have very fond memories of this one. Considered looking into starting working as a video game photographer while playing this game, lining up the camera angle to capture the beautiful renders. Reminded me of a song, "Find me and follow me through corridors" - (by the band) Franz Ferdinand ‧ 2004

Short game. One of my favorite walking sims. The atmosphere is dream like and the narration feels very existential. This is one of those games that some people will love, and others will hate. If you get it, you get it. If you don't, you don't. Well made.
