Brutalismus: Chapter 1

Very short experience where you walk through a huge structure. The game’s engine and interface will be familiar to all fans of the indie horror games. There’s the diary that never updates or even contains diary entries, a beating heart that represents health, a bunch of keys for various light sources, such as lighter, glowstick, and so on. The biggest issue is always the flashlight that requires batters to work. Fortunately, despite its inclusion, it does not cause problems in the game because it apparently comes with unlimited battery. While left mouse button is used for opening doors and using items, the right mouse button is used for inspecting objects and using items on them – which is done automatically as long as you hold the right item. The only problematic part might be interaction with doors. I examined one door and received a message stating that I did not have the key in my inventory. I wasted time seeking for a key and then discovered that the door was already unlocked and could be opened with a simple left click. By the way, there are no items. I bought this when it first released. At the time. I liked it but never finished it. Today I went back, started over and wow. Such an amazing game. It's an underrated gem. Nice set of options including turning head bob on/off. Graphics are very nice. Ran with a mix of extreme, high and medium settings at 2160. Performance was a solid 60 FPS. The ending was a cliffhanger. Hopefully the dev comes to back this. The world they built was definitely- different. Oppressive but with a faint hint of life. Not the longest game but the asking price is very fair. Especially for the quality you get. Overall. 10

The backstreets of Babbdi. Can be completed within 30 minutes. Some loose pieces of lore are available. Ends very abruptly and unceremoniously throws the player back to the main menu. I enjoyed my time with this game.

The flickering lights, the empty chairs, the voices... I am alone, but somebody is watching me, observing my every step. Whether he is watching me presently or from the past, I cannot tell but I know I'm not alone. The constant state of uneasiness is everpresent. The flowers are an oasis in the brutal prison, but serve only as a reminder of how bleak it all is. Later on you think you have escaped into nature only to realise it is all corrupted by man.

Pretty good with nice levels but the ladders need to be improved.

pretty cool atmospheric experience. if you right click on the first door it will tell you that you need a key and you will be very confused trying to find it. if you left click it will just open. lol
