This is a loop-based investigation game, in the likes of The Forgotten City, for example. While TFC tries to tell a more historical tale about philosophical concepts, this game offers very robust investigation and story, with many suspects, motives, discoveries and twists. I enjoyed this one very much. It's excellent as both a time-loop game and an investigation game. My only small complaint is that the script was obviously either originally not written in English and was translated later, or was written from the start by someone whose native language is not English (both options are equally likely since this is a Brazilian studio). I'm guessing thus, because many of the lines in the game are… almost... in English? But not entirely? Many were at least a bit off, to the point I actually didn't understand what was being said more than once. Even with that slight problem, the game is still highly recommended.

"I like the cut of your jip." This hand-drawn noir mystery set in 1937 Rio de Janeiro offered the highest production value of the session. While it is a solid point-and-click experience, the lack of full voice acting and ambient audio left it feeling a bit sparse during exploration. I recommend this if want a fun little detective game with maybe a bit missing some departments. Gameplay

A fun little noir detective yarn. It's not so much about deduction, It's fairly obvious what you need to do to progress. That said, its a fun story full of drama and intrigue. The characters are silly and fun, the art direction is wonderful, and the music fits the vibe well. Runtime wise i felt as though i felt like i got my moneys worth. Game ran well. No crashes or hitches in my 17 hours with the game.

Solid, well-designed game. Not so hard as to make you quit in frustration, yet not so easy to get you to stop caring. The cartoon-noir art is well done and the characters are fun and interesting (and if you're marginally familiar with Machado de Assis' works, there are lots of references to be found - did Capitu do it, or didn't she?). Pick it up for a rainy weekend and get lost in 18th-century Rio.

I’ve always loved the noir style, and this game immediately caught my attention with its atmosphere. This is already the third detective-style game I’ve tried recently, and so far I’m really enjoying the genre. The story managed to intrigue me, and now I genuinely want to find out what really happened. Most likely, I’ll play this one all the way to the end. I’m very interested in uncovering the full story
