Fun little indie game! Not much jumpscares nut fun none the less!2 found this helpful
The game has a nice spooky atmosphere with several jumpscares and spooky moments. It does have a choices matter feel at the end with multiple endings depending on the one decision. And the story is pretty good just make sure you look and pick up notes and after you get an ending go back and get the other endings to get a full understanding of the story. Awesome little game.2 found this helpful
THE RAKE SEES YOU
A cheap walking horror simulator with funny jumpscares that makes you question your sense of humor? I kept laughing my @$$ off during this game from all the weird motion that RAKE creature has... even the PREDICTABLE cheap jumpscares made me laugh. It does have a nice creepy ambiance at the start until you meet the creature. Then you run around and go to the next objective... repeat. A big irritant that kept annoying the sh!t out of me: the game controls your camera MANY times and you are locked, waiting for something to happen. I just hate this in the many cheap horror games who keeps doing this. It's awful and very annoying. STOP IT! My second biggest irritant is the inventory usage/management. Many times, items disappeared from the pitiful badly designed inventory system and I had to pound that "E" key to do actually open a door or do another action. It is barely working and the devs should really look into that! Another irritant was the jumping platform sequence before the railway. The movements were janky for the jumping and add the locked camera and bam, you fall in a little river and then you die. Wow... can't walk away or swim in this tiny …1 found this helpful
This game has a story like Blair Witch, the vibe is like don't scream, the way it's used is like Outlast but it's really bad. At first the game was annoying with a loud buzzing sound, it was supposed to give a scary vibe but it hurt my ears and made it annoying. Then I started the game, it took a while to stop by the shop, find wood, cook, sleep and there was one part in the house where I could jump far but in the quest to cross the river I had to find logs even though the distance wasn't that far, it was ridiculous. Then I had to jump to the place where I had to find logs, I could jump. It's bad, it's not that smart. I give the graphics 6/10 well done, I just need to study more to make it less scary but for the whole game 2/10. Keep it up guys!1 found this helpful
The game was really great. I enjoyed the creepy environment. And the fact you had to use a camera camera with night vision reminded me of outlast such a great game1 found this helpful
