I thought the game was really cool and I liked the premise of surviving masked killers hunting you through forests and historic places like abandoned castles and ruins. I also liked that the game has lots of choices that can lead to your death, but with checkpoints so you dont lose all your progress. its an interactive movie that changes based on the decisions you make throughout the story and there are lots of branches and different outcomes to discover. I just didnt like the ending, I found it anticlimactic and pretty cliché. even tho there are multiple endings i thought they were all disappointing, but the journey was still worth it despite the weak ending.

This game is everything I wanted in an FMV including of course Æthelstan, who should be in every game forever. I liked that in the end my ending reflected my choices, and I felt it was a unique and fun, well paced FMV. Wales Interactive should take notes because PRM Games knocked it out of the bloody park with this one. I look forward to seeing more. This game was a solid 9.61/10.

I love it!! I could easily play it over and over again, I love this kind of dynamic, and it's really well produced, it would easilyu make for a great game on Netflix!!

The Run was really fun. I do wish there was choice to selec to start from a choice rather than replay the whole game -- which is a downside to most FMV games. The production quality and acting was great. I remember the male protagonist from The Vikings tv show. He's always been a good actor. The end got me for sure!

This is a great FMV, but the unexpectedly short duration and the inability to skip around in the storyline absolutely kill the amount of value you get out of your $10. Pros: Solid acting, pacing, and setting. The actors are much better than most other FMVs I've played and the lead characters are reasonably compelling for the format. The writing is generally solid outside of a few really stupid moments. It is consistently high-quality, which is hard to do in this format. Cons: The ending is extremely abrupt and takes away all of the momentum the story had been building. The first two hours feel like the first arc of something bigger, but then suddenly it introduces a bunch of completely new plot devices and then just... ends. If you want to go back and experience other branching paths, you have no choice but to make a new save and start over from the beginning. This one-two punch of the out-of-left-field ending and the daunting task of rehashing a bunch of old scenes make it feel like you got scammed out of something that would have been super cool. In its current state, I would recommend this for $5. If they add the ability to skip around in the storyline without restarting, I …
