I'm not much for RPG dialogue-heavy games, but this game made me think otherwise. The Shame of a Daydreamer had me jumping in my seat at its twists. Sometimes I even screamed! The dialogue is so enticing that I always want to learn more about the characters and the world. I've just reached my first ending as Elias and have already started my first route as Felix. I will definitely continue playing to see what other lore and endings the game has to offer!4 found this helpful
I've only just started playing this game but it has already officially sucked me in. Not only is the art absolutely beautiful but the story telling is done in such a way that's intriguing and captivating and has me wanting more. It's not too early to definitely note that the creator put a lot of thought and love into this game. The characters are amazing and well done and I can't wait to find out more about them and just the world in game in general!! Absolutely worth the time checking out!! <33 found this helpful
i've only played the game for a bit and gotten one of the endings, but this is a game i thoroughly enjoyed and honestly one of the most interesting ones i've played in a while. the world building is amazing, and it makes me just want to keep exploring and seeing what other clues and secrets i can find. the plot takes a turn in a direction i didn't expect at all, which was a good surprise. you can clearly tell the creator put a lot of time and dedication into this game. i can't wait to play more and find out what the other endings are :]3 found this helpful
I cannot recommend this game to anyone I know. I think it's a game for angsty teens with brains fried by obsessive pornography use, so I am sure it's going to be a big hit and it will find it's crowd. That being said, the art is fantastic.3 found this helpful
Shameless/10
This is definitely a very special and thought-provoking game. It's very taboo-ish, but without being unnecessarily edgy or pornographic. And the story has many layers and a bigger picture, but the plot is also pretty simple and easy to follow. Gameplay-wise, there is not much into it beyond basic interactions and the shame system, which is also kinda straightforward. And most of the puzzles boil down to interacting with the right thing/person on the right day - there are a lot of things to interact with, so you may get lost, but the game has also received a couple of updates adding hint systems, so it should be easier to beat without needing any guides by now. It certainly requires a lot of trial and error, so you are going to be going back to previous saves constantly, but a playthrough can be pretty short once you figure out what to do, you can potentially beat each campaign in like 50 minutes. Needless to say, I absolutely recommend this game.1 found this helpful
This title looked interesting - but between the clunky layout and constant crashes I couldn't really get into it. I might try this again if there is an update that improves accessability/playability.1 found this helpful
