So I wanted to give feedback about the game, don't really see much community wise about this game so the best I could do is write a review and hopefully the dev takes some of it on board. If not, I'm giving a bit of warning for the people potentially interested. Even though its supposedly in 1.0 right now, the game is far from "released" or in a state that could be qualified as released. They had the cool idea of adding cut scenes, that were happening live as the game played. With all the downsides that comes with, yes you can move but your camera is locked somewhere while you can be getting attacked, so in one of the first levels you can play. You get locked into a camera and I've had it happen at least a few times where I'm just OBLITERATED by things I don't know the direction of attacking me. The best way I can find out to respond to this is just summoning your shield and hoping you have enough energy to withstand everything and yes I also get you can skip the cut scenes with enter, but why am I able to be attacked through a story sequence? Sound options also don't work for most part, I can turn the music off but anything about editing my volume immediately resets itself once …3 found this helpful
I hate that I can't reccomend this game, at least not yet. It's early access, and my hopes are high that this game gets better, but frankly, I see few reasons why games like final fantasy 16 would run better on a steam deck than this game. Optimization is needed in nearly all departments. A quote from the description: "They will try to stop you with their soldiers, F15, Giant mechas, warships or tanks but it is going to be useless against your power." In actuality, I sat under a battleship, punching and blasting at it, not even sure I was doing any damage. Meanwhile, I'm trying to avoid a squadron of attack helicopters that have spawned underwater, and are quickly draining my health, and knocking me all over the place. The planet in this game is perfectly safe, I assure you. The Goonies could beat this guy with a slingshot and a pack of bubble gum.1 found this helpful
Solo dev is an admirable feat, but this game needs to go back to the drawing board. Awesome idea with poor execution. Looks like updates are decently frequent so maybe my gripes will be settled soon. None of the finer systems are explained: pop-up says you can capture cities to gain resources. No idea what I can spend them on, but I have about 5000 stored up. There's a menu for commanding ground and air units so I assume there is some way to spend them. I go to defend one of my cities, maybe the resources are secretly super useful, but I'm met with some truly inspiring fighter jet spam with missiles that stunlock you into oblivion. The lock on system is just *bad.* You're camera locked and these missiles are on your butt, best of luck dodging because your shield is made of paper. Also, you're still locked if you lock on and there's nothing there. Combat in general is just floaty and hard to control. I'm back in space, flying around, and notice there's a big spaceship on the darkside of the moon somehow shooting the starting mine on the other side of the moon. Maybe space combat could be cool? No, you can't lock on to anything (if you do pick up the game, spear mode i…
Pretty good game, you get to be an alien villain wiping out enemies with cool powers. Definitely good the dev is working hard on this. As it is, really good other than small glitch at the start of conquest where there will be one enemy buried under the map at the very end. Other than that? Good game all around! Good luck dev o7!
Windows 10. RTX 3080 ti. 25 Minutes of playtime. Crashed 2 times in tutorial and sent me right back on the desktop. I wait with a refund if the game receives an update that might fixes the crashing. At least i hope it does. Would like to see more and give the game a chance to show whats in there.
Pretty average it crashed on me once so far but it has promise
